Thank you so much Ms. Fox!
Poetry will be posted next week!

Putting it all together

A Voyager Update

Voyager Update

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Voyager Supporters,

We are happy to announce that Mrs. Clough will be joining the
Voyager team for the remainder of the year. She will be teaming
with Ms. Bashaw to provide literacy instruction. Mrs. Clough has
been the 4-6 reading interventionist here at St. Albans City School
and is very excited to join our team. The entire team is delighted
to welcome her to Voyagers, starting next week (March 12).

Next year Mrs. Clough will be teaching in our 1st to 3rd grade.
We have started to look for a permanent Voyager teacher,
and we are excited about the candidates.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us here at school with
any questions, concerns, or comments.

Hope you had a great break!
It's time to get learning!!!

Hidden Figures

The novel Hidden Figures has been the focus of fifth and sixth grade reading groups. It is our hope to show this inspirational movie to all of the Voyagers just before the Winter Break (the week of February 23). Please make sure to return your permission slip- or if  your student has misplaced their slip- just write us a note giving them permission to watch.

Voyager Update

Voyager Update
February 2018

Dear Parents, Guardians and Voyager Supporters,

We are writing to notify you that during our team meeting today we informed the Voyager students that Mr. Morgillo (Mr. M.) will not be returning to St. Albans City School. He has decided to relocate to his home state of Connecticut to continue his post surgery physical therapy and to be closer to his family.

Although Mr. Morgillo’s presence will be missed, we want to assure our Voyagers and their families that our search for a short term and long term Voyager teacher is underway and we will keep you informed of our progress. We are pleased Ms. Muir will continue her role as our writing teacher while we search.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us here at school.
